Tozeur
Tozeur, the pearl and the capital of the Jerid, is located in the heart of one of the most famous oasis in the world. This is the old Thusuros, one of the posts that were on the Roman road from Biskra to Gabes. This is the largest producer of dates, especially the variety "déglet en- nour", whose excellent reputation is well established.
